Travis County municipal and JP records are not unified. Traffic and Class C misdemeanor warrants are usually municipal, not district-level.

Montgomery County JP courts (Precincts 1 through 5) operate independently. A district court search will not surface JP-level warrant records.

Frisco, Little Elm, and Lewisville span the Dallas–Denton county line. A warrant may exist in either county's system.
