Running a free search means doing the legwork yourself across several different systems. No. Dallas County does have a wanted search webpage, but it is not always up to date. To get the most accurate information on county-level warrants, individuals usually have to call the Sheriff’s Warrant Information Line directly (214-761-9026). Keep in mind, this still might not cover municipal tickets or “pocket warrants” that haven’t been fully processed.
You can start by searching the Dallas County District Clerk’s online portal, which houses records for felony cases filed after 2009. If you find a matching case, you will still need to confirm whether an active warrant is attached by contacting the listed court or the Sheriff’s Office
For city-level offenses like traffic tickets or code violations, you can use the City of Dallas Municipal Court’s online Citation & Docket Search (active warrants will typically appear in red). You can also call their 24/7 automated system at 214-670-0109 to check your status.

No—we find the information; we do not change court records. Only the issuing judge or the appropriate Dallas County court can recall or clear an active warrant. However, we do provide the exact information you need to hand over to a licensed attorney or bail bondsman so they can help you resolve it on your terms.
